2023 BRA Production160 Rules

Racing class open to 4 stroke 160cc sports and commuter Motorcycles.

• Any Standard road Sports/Commuter 4 stroke motorcycle up to 160cc with ADR Compliance
• Standard exhaust system must be used.
• Starter motor, battery and alternator must remain standard and operational. (Engine must start from bikes own starter motor).
• No modifications except for those listed below
• The motorcycle must comply with any requirements for road racing in the MOMs

The following items may be modified.

1. Body work may be removed or replaced, provided the replacement bodywork has a similar profile as OEM
2. Fibreglass fairing and seat cowling allowed.
3. External gearing.
4. Standard forks and springs, oil may be changed and preload added
5. Rear shock can be reoiled and pre load added.
6. Tyres: No Slicks or Wet Weather Racing Tyres.

Mandatory MOMS.

• Sump plug drilled and wired. (See MA rules)
• Oil filler cap drilled and wired.
• Radiator cap drilled and wired.
